THERE YOU ARE!
Volunteer: Parking Team
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” – Psalm 126:3
We make every effort to connect with each person who enters the property in some way (smile, friendly face, wave) to make them feel a valued part of our community. While it may seem these initial actions are small, they matter. As the first face many will see as they enter Crossroads, it matters that volunteers of the parking team set the tone. Our actions, body language, and words must all say, "You are welcome here!"

Steps that will help you in your role as a Parking Team Volunteer
Remember that we live in this 8-second world, and first impressions are critical. You’re the first contact new visitors will encounter.
- Arrive 30 minutes before the service begins
- Pick up your safety vest, walkie-talkie, and lanyard at the Welcome Center
- If you see a family that you know had small children, give them priority parking.
- Follow the preferred traffic flow to get people parked safely
- Smile. Even in winter if you're wearing a scarf up over your mouth, smile. They'll see it in your eyes!
